Meet Lisamarie Johnston
The path to starting my own business has been windy, full of interesting diversions and never boring. The challenges, independence, and satisfaction of being self-employed has always appealed to me. I was able to realise that dream after moving to Houston, BC in 2016. This move was an impulsive, daring adventure brought on by not knowing what I wanted to do with my life but knowing that it wasn’t working for a corporate company that was all about the bottom line. When I returned home to Vancouver, I was now armed with the start of a PURPOSE in my professional life.

Ruben Chavez was on to something with that quote – I’ve always been drawn to nature and animals and the people who share my love of them. When I started my business, I never dreamed that I would be able to combine my love of the geekier aspects of business with my passion for animals – but that’s exactly what I’ve done with Full Stride Solutions. My satisfaction comes from helping my clients achieve their best by polishing their writing, designing websites that make them SHINE and giving them more time to do the things that are truly important to them – who doesn’t want more time with their family and four-legged friends? I thrive on the challenge of “How can we make this better, more efficient and more straightforward?”
